2019 — The Easton Setback “Los” was weeks away from opening his first café location at 154 Northampton Street in Easton, PA. The space was built out. The equipment was bought and installed. Over $25,000 invested. Then, a bad business deal with the late Niko from Greet meat guy, Brooke from Heavenly Host followed by some home baker that, he brought into the commercial scene.  
Then COVID‑19 hit.
Because the café had not officially opened, Los didn’t qualify for any government assistance — no grants, no loans, no relief. The entire investment was lost.
But instead of quitting, Los rebuilt. That setback became the spark that led to:
  • Ms. Velvet’s® 2GO
  • Ms. Velvet’s Express
  • A brand built on resilience, family, and purpose
The Easton location never opened — but it became the origin story of everything that came after.
